For scientists involved in pharmaceutical development, high throughput experimentation is commonplace for activities such as reaction optimization, process development, catalyst screening, and reaction scale-up. While there are many observed benefits of implementing HTE workflows in laboratories, it also dramatically affects corporate informatics infrastructures and there are significant impediments to its utilization. In order to optimize laboratory efficiency and support the lab of the future, the industry requires a technological solution that can help streamline workflows and demonstrate data integrity. That's why we've recently launched Katalyst D2D to solve the industry’s greatest pain points in HT experimentation. Read on to learn more about our new solution for high throughput experimentation and parallel synthesis.
Andrew Anderson muses about our upcoming visit to our 23rd Pittcon conference as we celebrate our 25th anniversary with an exciting new product launch.
ACD/Labs is proud to support cutting-edge academic research, and every year hundreds of authors cite our software for its meaningful contributions to their novel findings. Here we’ve collected five of our favorite examples from 2018 (in chronological order), with a preference for open-access articles so that readers can investigate these intriguing applications of our software on their own. Read on!
If you haven’t already heard, it’s our 25th year in business. This milestone has been a magnificent journey achieved by our team’s drive to help the scientific community solve research challenges and accelerate innovation. As regulatory agencies have placed increased pressure on our customers, partners, and collaborators, we’ve stood the test of time by providing software that supports processes and workflows to ensure safety, quality, and data integrity. Our motto this year is Connect—Align—Learn. We aim to connect more with our customers, align with their needs, and learn as much as possible over the next twelve months. As we mark this silver anniversary, I found it only fitting to share 25 achievements we’ve celebrated along the way.
At ACD/Labs we have assembled an extraordinary amount of experience in helping scientists and their organizations get maximum value from their analytical data. Not only by helping extract answers from data efficiently, but also enabling customers to store the knowledge gained in a scientifically intuitive manner with the context of the original experiment to maximize its value in future review and re-use. How is analytical data viewed in your organization, or are you scared to ask?
Recently I had the pleasure of sitting down with two of ACD/Labs’ Technical Support superstars, Laura Zepeda and Irina Oshchepkova, to discuss their experience assisting customers with software challenges. I wanted to provide a platform for them to elaborate on the issues they regularly help resolve, and ask if they had any advice for users to ensure a trouble-free experience.
As 2018 comes to a close and we approach a milestone year for ACD/Labs—2019 will be our 25th year in business—I reflect on the vigorous path of innovation ACD/Labs has taken in the last few years. For a business to remain relevant and vibrant, particularly in the science and technology sector, addressing the current needs of our customers, and most importantly anticipating those that lie ahead, is vital.
With the end of the year quickly approaching, what better time to reflect on the work that your team has accomplished this year and recognize the foundation that lends itself to this success—laboratory culture. As the holidays are a great time to boost employee morale and encourage team building activities, here’s how you can spread holiday, or as I’d like to call it, “chemical” cheer in the lab this year to foster scientific discovery year round.
Data integrity has become an industry buzzword, but do people really understand what it means? A recent survey we conducted with Chemistry & Engineering News (CE&N) showed that scientists think about data integrity differently. Read on to learn more about our survey and the results we found.
It’s that time of year again – The air is crisp and the leaves are changing colors. It’s also that time of year when we unveil the latest versions of our Spectrus and Percepta Platforms. We are particularly excited about the improvements we’ve made this year to V.2018.1 since many of them are the result of customer feedback. Our goal is to foster innovation by providing our customers with practical, straightforward tools that will simplify workflows and ensure accurate data analysis, and we hope to better achieve this by considering your opinions.
