LabTube Takes a Look at Luminata during PITTCON 2017

By Andrew Anderson, Vice President, Innovation and Informatics Strategy

Last month, the ACD/Labs team headed to Chicago for the annual Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy, and I have to admit that I considered this event like many of the other tradeshows I’ve attended over the years. However, after arriving on Sunday, I quickly discovered why PITTCON attracts more than 14,000 scientists from all over the world each year. From the newest instruments to the latest laboratory software, the floor was packed with numerous companies and scientific innovations.

PITTCON 2017 was a particularly big event for the ACD/Labs team this year because we were focused on the launch of Luminata, our new informatics solution for comprehensive impurity and characterization management. The five days we spent in Chicago were the culmination of months of hard work across the entire organization, and I’m pleased to say that the launch went off without a hitch. While there were a number of great conversations at the show about both Luminata and impurities management in general, on the third day, I had the opportunity to meet with the folks at LabTube to talk about ACD/Labs and our vision for Luminata. Luckily, they were able to record a portion of the conversation, and I encourage you to check out the video below:

As you can see, we are really excited about the launch of Luminata at ACD/Labs, and if you’d like to learn more about the product, visit our solution page here: http://www.acdlabs.com/solutions/luminata/.

I’m already looking forward to PITTCON 2018, and I hope to see you all there! Also, if you have any thoughts about this year’s show or questions about Luminata, feel free to leave a comment below.
