Another PITTCON is upon us and we are eager to get the show started! Held at the McCormick Place in Chicago, IL from Sunday, March 5 to Thursday, March 9, The Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy gathers over 12,841 scientists, academics, and analytical chemists from around the world to discuss innovative solutions for modern day laboratory challenges. The show features keynote presentations by university professors, over 2,000 technical presentations and short-skill courses in addition to its expansive EXPO floor, filled with over 789 vendors.
We will be exhibiting at booth #2918, showcasing our solutions and networking with fellow scientists. Additionally, we will be busy with a number of other activities as well as making an exciting announcement about our product pipeline for 2017. To provide you with more details about our team’s activities at PITTCON 2017, here is an overview of our schedule:
- Solution Unveiling (Monday, March 6 at 9:00 AM) – Keep your eyes peeled for our PITTCON 2017 announcement with more information on our newest informatics system. Hint: this solution will help scientists improve the management of impurity profile information. If you’re not attending the show, check out our announcement page for an update here: http://www.acdlabs.com/company/media/press_releases.php.
- Presentation (Monday, March 6 at 2:10 PM) – Join Albert Van Wyk for his presentation, “An Informatics Based Approach to Impurity Fate Mapping and Control Strategy” in room W475a during session 750 in the Pharmaceutical Characterization track. He’ll be sharing how to apply Quality by Design (QbD) principles to impurity investigations and control strategies, including what role the laboratory informatics system based approach, Impurity Resolution Management, plays in facilitating these processes.
- Software Demo (Wednesday, March 8 at 12:00 PM) – Visit us at live demo area 1, (booth 2931) for a live demo on the EXPO floor of our new software that aids better management of impurity life cycle data in pharmaceutical development – come and check it out on Wednesday.
If you are attending PITTCON next week, be sure to stop by our booth to say hello and meet the team, ask questions and discuss our new developments in the realm of informatics and impurities. Even if you will not be in Chicago, you can receive live updates throughout the show by following us on Twitter, @ACDLabs, and using the “#Pittcon17” hashtag.
